Madison Garrett
Madison Garrett is a 17 year-old senior at Tomball Memorial High School. She began playing the cello in 6th grade, and has been playing in the top orchestra since then. Her orchestra director is Mr. Peter Jagdeo, and she studies privately under Dr. Daniel Saenz. She has played at both region and all-state, and at the Disney studio in Orlando. Outside of school, she plays annually with the SFA Cello Club and the Houston Youth Symphony. She also performs for nursing homes and has played at several weddings. Despite prioritizing academics throughout high school, it was during her senior year that she decided to seek a musical performance career, embracing the philosophy that it’s never too late to pursue a dream. She also loves embroidering, eating her grandma’s pho (she’s half Vietnamese), and dancing, but music remains her one true passion.
