Tarryn Goldner

Tarryn Goldner is 16 years old and started playing the bassoon at 12 years old. He also plays the contrabassoon and drum set as well. Tarryn is a junior at Clear Falls High School and studies under his band director, Mr. Brian Moreno, as well as his private lesson teacher, Ms. Robyn Watson. He was in the Houston Youth Symphony for 4 years and has attended the Bocal Majority Double Reed Camp, Stars and Stripes Band Camp, Baylor Band Camp, LSU’s Double Reed Day, Sam Houston State’s Double Reed Day, and Camp Electric. Tarryn has made region band every year since 7th grade and has made the TMEA All-State Band/Orchestra his 9th and 10th grade year.
He is currently 8th in the state on bassoon. Tarryn is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also a Drum Major as well as his school band vice president. Tarryn enjoys playing drum set for his church worship team. He also enjoys video editing, all things Marvel-related, scuba diving, and amusement parks.
