Lila Sareen

Lila Sareen is an 18 year-old senior and first chair at Ridge Point High School. She began playing the trumpet in the 6th grade when she was 12. Lila takes private lessons from Noe Marmolejo, a Jazz Professor at the University of Houston. Her high school band directors are Luis Saldana, Amanda Marquart, and Charles Johnson. Starting her first two years of high school at Saint Agnes Academy, she decided to transfer to Ridge Point High School, where she participates in marching band. Throughout high school, she has made accomplishments such as TPSMEA All-State, 5A/6A Region, 5A/6A Area, Jazz Region, Jazz Area, and Region orchestra. In her free time, she likes to read, be with her friends and family, snowboard, and listen to music.
