Alan Perez

Alan Perez, age 16, started playing viola at the age of 9 and has just started his first season with the Virtuosi of Houston Chamber Orchestra. He currently studies with Melissa Escobar, a University of Houston student and Virtuosi of Houston Alumni. He is also currently in his junior year at J. Frank Dobie High School and performs with the Chamber Varsity Orchestra. Some of his accomplishments are consistently making it to TMEA Region 19 since 2018. Aside from music, Alan enjoys dancing with the folkloric dance group, Las Americas Ballet Folklorico, where they perform and share their beautiful Mexican culture.
