Travis Gibson

Travis Gibson is a homeschooled senior violinist. He has been playing violin since the age of four. He currently studies with Houston Symphony’s Rodica Gonzalez. Travis is returning for his sixth season with Virtuosi of Houston to continue a long history of participation with the organization. Along with Virtuosi, Travis played in the Houston Youth Symphony for multiple years and has been concert-master of his All-Region orchestra.
He has 5 musical siblings who have all been actively involved in Virtuosi over the years. Outside of music, Travis is an avid distance runner, competing on all levels across the nation. He slso enjoys completing home improvement and maintenance projects such as plumbing work and fence-building. He continues to explore his plans for after graduation.
