Brendon Young

Brendon Young is a 17 year-old senior at Kingwood High School. He started his musical career by playing the cello for only a year and then switching to bassoon. He also started playing contrabassoon 2 years ago. He has been a part of the Kingwood High School Symphony, the Second Baptist Church Orchestra, and the Houston Youth Symphony. He made the All- State band his junior year and All-State for Solo and Ensemble his junior and sophomore years. He works with Mr. James Roberson through private lessons, and his band director is Mr. Tyler Morrison. He has run track for 3 years of high school, participates in the marching band, and loves fishing.
