Johann Acuña is a violinist, pianist, and church-music leader who serves as Assistant Professor of Music and Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and as Worship Pastor at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, Mississippi.

A Virtuosi of Houston alumnus, he has devoted more than thirty years to the music ministry of churches across a wide range of cultures, sizes, and musical traditions, and is passionate about discipling musicians and preparing the next generation of church leaders.

He holds a Bachelor of Music from Baylor University (2009), a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2020), and a Doctor of Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2024). He and his wife, Aubrey, married in 2014 and have three children: Benjamin, Lucas, and Daniel.
