Brayden Lim

Brayden, age 14, is a freshman at St. John’s School. He has played oboe since sixth grade and piano since first grade; he currently studies with Anne Leek and Kana Mimaki. He is a member of the SJS Band, directed by Nick Thomas, and has also played with the Houston Youth Chamber Orchestra, AFA Philharmonic, and Interlochen Intermediate Symphony Orchestra. In 2025, he participated in the TPSMEA Honor Band and earned an honorable mention at the TMTA Performance Contest. Brayden also enjoys performing piano duets as a member of the Piano Destroyers and playing volleyball and tennis with his school team.
