Sadie McLeod

Sadie McLeod is a 15 year old violinist in 10th grade at Legacy Academy. She began playing at the age of 3 under Lauren Kossler of the Winston Salem Symphony. In Houston she studied with Caroline Ewan and is currently a student of Dr. Matt Lammers at the Michael P. Hammond Preparatory Program at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music. She is a member of the Symphony Orchestra at Houston Youth Symphony under Dr. Michael Webster. Sadie also plays with the Opus 1 Chamber Music School coached by Dr. Marisa Ishikawa. Sadie attended the Bowdoin International Music Festival in 2023 and studied under Prof. Kurt Sassmanhaus, Philip Ying, and Ahrim Kim.
