Noah Baskin
Mentoring Houston's youth through orchestral excellence
Noah age 17, has been playing percussion for nine years. He currently attends Oak Ridge High School, where he participates in wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, marching band, and orchestra. Noah has played with the Houston Youth Symphony, Region Band, and Region Orchestra, AFA, and Conroe Symphony Orchestra. He has advanced to State Solo and Ensemble three times, achieving Superior Ratings each time. Noah’s private instructor is Terry McKinney, and his high school director is Jerriald Dillard. Noah enjoys traveling to California to see family, frequenting theme parks, and participating in marimba festivals and competitions. Noah will soon become a Music Performance major and plans to win a job in a professional orchestra.
