Dominic Block
Mentoring Houston's youth through orchestral excellence
Dominic Block is 18 years old and has been playing violin since the age of nine. He is a senior at Cathedral High School. He has been a member of Virtuosi of Houston for three years, and also loves to play with the Opus 1 Chamber Music School, where he often plays the viola. He has attended various festivals and camps such as AFA, Stringwood, Opus360, and the Texas Music Festival. He has studied violin privately with Melissa Williams and currently with Dr. Matt Lammers. Dominic also loves playing basketball, soccer, and rugby.
