Katie Marie Salvatore is a Houston native and professional oboist whose career spans performance and arts administration. A former Virtuosi of Houston musician, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Music Education from Baylor University, a Master of Arts in Music Performance from the University of Chichester in West Sussex, UK, and a Master of Music in Oboe Performance from Northwestern University. She has been a member of the Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra's oboe section since 2022.

In her professional life off the stage, Katie serves as Director of Annual Giving and Membership at the Houston Symphony, bringing her passion for music and community together in support of the city's cultural life.
