Ashley Vandiver, violinist

Ashley Vandiver is an American-born violinist and violist who joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra as Fourth Chair Viola in 2018. Acclaimed by the Denver Post as “wonderfully expressive…polished and carefree,” she has performed in more than thirty countries on five continents.

Before immigrating to Canada in 2012, she was a founding member and rotating concertmaster of the Grammy-nominated chamber orchestra A Far Cry. She performs regularly with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, The Knights, the Canadian Opera Company, and the National Ballet of Canada.
