Corinne McLeod

Corinne McLeod, 15, is in the ninth grade at Legacy Academy, where she homeschools with her four younger siblings. Corinne began her study of violin in 2011 under Mrs. Lauren Kossler of the Winston Salem Symphony in North Carolina. She currently studies with Ms. Caroline Ewan of the Cypress Violin Studio. Corinne loves using her skill to play in various symphonies around Hou-ston. She joined the Houston Youth Symphony in 2019 under Dr. Jackson Guillen and currently plays under conductors Carolyn Vandiver and Ann Victor. Corinne attended Texas All State Strings Camp in 2020 and played for cellist Mike Bloch. When she is not playing or practicing, Corinne loves riding and jumping horses with her sister Sadie, playing golf with her siblings, and spending time with her bunnies, Rosie and Ollie. Corinne plans to pursue a career in violin performance.
