Jordan Efird, a 17 year old senior attending J. Frank Dobie High School, began playing violin in 5th grade, at age 10. Having been a member of the top orchestra groups in school for all 7 years, Jordan is also a 5 year Region Orchestra and 2 year UIL Full Orchestra participant. Jordan plays the ukulele, guitar and sings. He has excelled academically taking AP classes and has earned a high ranking in his class. Jordan believes in community service and has served in church, is a member of the National Honor Society, an orchestra officer and a member of the Boys Scouts of America (BSA) where he is working on his Eagle Scout Rank. Jordan’s private lessons teacher is Ms. Medea Guldedava and his high school Orchestra Director is Ms. Angela Badon. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing video games, rock climbing and attending BSA summer camps.
