Isabella Romano

Isabella Romano, age 17, is a senior
at Cypress Falls High School. She
started playing the flute when she
was 11 years old. Isabella is currently
first chair of the Wind Symphony at
Cypress Falls High School, directed by
Mark Edenfield. Since 6th grade she
has received Division One ratings at
UIL Region Solo and Ensemble and
received Sweepstakes in UIL while
playing in band at Aragon Middle
School and CFHS. In 2013, she was
selected 1st chair for the TMEA
Region XXVII Orchestra and Band.
In 2014, Bella advanced to Area as a
freshman, and in 2015 made 3rd chair
Region Orchestra and participated in
Region Band. Last year Bella made
state alternate. In 2014, her quartet
received honorable mention at the
Denise Jennings Competition. She is a
former student of Jane Hinojosa and
currently studies with Melissa Suhr
and Allison Schiller. Outside of band,
Bella is a member of many clubs and
organizations including Key Club, Mu
Alpha Theta, Tri-M, National Honor
Society, Rho Kappa and Science
National Honor Society.
